Biography
Iskan Selim is a Greek martial artist borned in Greece in 1981. He took the first steps in martial arts starting from the Muai Thai at an early age in Germany,where he had important awards in competitions specifically 28 wins in a total of 29 matches.In 2001 he entered in the world of Krav Maga and began to train as a student in one of the most highly respected schools in Israel. In 2007 he took the title of Master and 4 years later founded the self-defense system and single member company Krav Maga Viper. Today Iskan Selim is considered being one of the top examiners in the world with experience of having lessons and seminars in 120 countries.

ISKAN SELIM IS THE FOUNDER AND MANAGER OF KRAV MAGA VIPER, FOUNDED IN 2014.
His involvement with Krav Maga began in 2000, when KRAV MAGA was first held in Europe, Iskan Selim was “initiated” in Krav Maga in 2003 by an Israeli teacher he had met at Muay Thai (Thai boxing) at Hamburg and since then he has worked professionally.
He has reached the 5th DAN and has graduated from the Ashdod Academy in Israel. After the first place in the recent international tournament, he was awarded the golden belt, which is the highest distinction and has also been awarded twice the title of GrandMaster of the Year 2015 and 2018. The last years, he teaches Krav Maga Viper, has traveled many times in Israel, Germany and other countries. He has personally met all of Krav Maga’s great masters world-wide. Krav Maga Viper is combining techniques from all the martial arts that he have learned during his life. Two of the most important awards given in Krav Maga Viper and the Master Iskan Selim are the American President’s Challenge that he won in 2013 and claimed the Gold Award as Presidential Champion, signed by the President of the USA Barack Obama, and second the title of world champion in the self-defense world championship in Germany in 2015 where he represented his country, Greece and the Krav Maga Viper. The World Martial Arts Federation MAA, gave him the gold belt and recognised KMV as one of the top self-defense systems in the world.
ONE OF THE LAST BIGGEST AWARDS IS FROM HALL OF FAME ,AWARDED WITH THE AWARD OF HONOR , AS MASTER OF THE YEAR 2018.
He completed basic and special education of the system in Samara, Russia, from the 3rd Brigade of GRU Spetsnaz – the elite of the military formations under the control of the GRU Military Information Service.
General Knowledge of Martial Arts and Sports Activities
His engagement with the martial arts began at a very young age. At the age of 14 he started with Muay Thai, which reached up to 12 KHAN. He later moved to Shaolin Wing Chun, and Kali Arnis Eskrima, with whom he spent a total of four years. After that he began to work with Krav Maga with a Masters who is World recognized. He also worked for 7 years with Voin Spetsnaz Gru.
